Summary:	OM LD4834.S71 1886 ; 4 bound manuscript volumes rebound together in a single blue cloth binding ; 22 cm. Notebooks kept by Thomas A. Daly while a student at Villanova College from 1880-1887. Presented to Villanova College Library by the author in 1946. On the title page: "Thomas A. Daly Villanova College. Del Co. Pa ; Mar 4th '87." Contains tipped in list of classmates titled "1st Grammar class of '85" ; essays on "Requisites for Rhyme"; "Spenserian Stanza and the Sonnets"; "The Ode"; "Pauses in Verse"; a poem on "St. Patrick"; drawings (possibly self-portrait); and a list of letters written and received in 1889.
