Bridging the IT Support Gap. I would like to thank John T.
Nosek, Professor of Computer & Information Sciences
at Temple University, and Margaret McManus, Associate
Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences at La Salle
University, for serving as Guest Editors. John’s
research interests focus on the development of collaborative
theories and theory-based technology that will
improve anytime, anyplace collaborative work by better
managing the social, cognitive, and procedural
complexities inherent in joint effort. He has published
widely on a broad range of information technology
topics, including seminal work in pair programming.
For over a decade, his main interest has been exploring
ways to accelerate organizational success by transforming
