FIrst published on St. Patrick's Day 1910, Fianna was vehemently anti-British. Irish folk tales and historical narratives mark each copy, as did stories about the history of the Irish in Argentina and their contribution to national development. Editor Patrick McManus was a particularly vocal opponent of imperialism and regularly criticised British manoeuvres throughout the world.
