Programs, Gurthalougha Amateur Theater.

XM PN2601 .G45 1892   3 broadside programs (3 leaves total) ;   21 cm.  Gurthalougha House, Ballinderry, Nenagh, County Tipperary on the shores of Lough Derg was build in the 1870's by a William Farrar.  In the 19th century, amateur theatricals were a popular form of evening entertainment in the houses of the gentry.  On occasion, small programs were printed.  These 3 programs consist of performances:  "The Area Bell" by W. Brough and A. Halliday and "Betsy Baker: or Too Attentive by half" by Maddison Morton, on December 12, 1892;"Second Thoughts" by G.C. Herbert and "A case for eviction" by  S. Theyre Smith, on October 31, 1894; "Programme, Concert" on November 4, 1895.  Printed on different pastel colored paper.  Ink marginalia.
