Missing pages. Bibliographic references included. Information on the patroness of Sciacca, Italy, "Maria Santissima del Soccorso di Sciacca," aka M.S.S, and the formation of the society. The M.S.S. society's objective, when founded in 1904, in Norristown, "determined that 'services in the church, Procession and Entertainment. . . "   The author noted, in a previous article, there are only 3 main Sciacchitani enclaves in the United States: Norristown, PA, Brooklyn, NY and Boston, MA.

The color print is the Maria Santissima del Soccorso Venerata dagli Siacchiatani di Boston (MASS.). On page [ii] author included holy card from the Sciacchitani enclave in Brooklyn, NY. A photocopy of the M.S.S., sculpture by Giuseppe (Joseph) Bruno, of New York, who is responsible for the sculpted Norristown statue still used in current processions.

A Wikipedia entry, Beata Vergine Maria del Soccorso, described the general features in the M.S.S. statue, ""The most common and characteristic iconography of the Virgin of Help the presents army club was ready to strike a devil who cowers in terror at his feet."[per Google translate]
