Fragile. Document printed in narrow newspaper column format. Edited notations, in ink, found on page 1 only.  Handwritten, across the top of page 1, "Catholic Club of Philadelphia" Remarks made by Club's President, Stephen  Farrelly, along with members Colonel John I. Rogers and Wayne MacVeagh. Included in transcript were letters of regrets from the honoree, Cardinal James Gibbons, of Baltimore, who was called suddenly to Rome, as well as  by President Grover Cleveland,  and Archbishop Owen Patrick Bernard Corrigan, of New York.

The transcript included lengthy remarks made about Cardinal Gibbons, and his impact, as well as the Church's impact through history.
