For more information, visit www.phillyseaport.org/library.  Patrick Hayes directed shipment of tea from Canton, China, Keen & Stillwell to insure cargo to be loaded onto Ship Rebecca instead of the intended Ship Dorothea per agreement reached between Captain of Ship Rebecca and Hayes. Hayes noted latitude and longitude where he spoke with Ship Rebecca.
