From the Editor.

With this last issue of volume 27, I am pleased to introduce a special issue on “Information SystemManagement in the Scope of e-Government,” guest edited by Luis Anido Rifón and Luis Álvarez Sabucedo. Luis Anido Rifón has a Telecommunication Engineering degree, with honors (1997), in the Telematics and Communication branches and a Telecommunication Enginee- ring PhD, with honors (2001), from the University of Vigo, Spain. Currently, he is Associate Professor in the Telematics Engineering Department of the University of Vigo and holds the post of Director of the Innovation in Education Unit of the University of Vigo. He has received several awards by the W3C, the Royal Academy of Sciences, and the Official Spanish Telecommunication Association. He has authored more than 180 papers in journals and conferences. He is also the manager of the ICT Galician Research Program, technical secretariat of the CTN71 SC36 group of the Spanish Association for Standardisation and Certification (AENOR) and head of the Spanish delegation to ISO/IEC JTC1 SC36. Luis Álvarez Sabucedo has a Telecommunication Engineering degree, with honors (2001), and a Telecommunication Engineering PhD, with honors (2008), from the University of Vigo. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor in the Telematics Engineering Department of the University of Vigo. His research interests include semantic technologies, web-based solutions, and e-government. Thanks to Luis and Luis for their hard work in preparing this interesting themed issue to advance research on the topic of e-government.
