The Rev’d‘Mr Rossjter in the Chair In consequence of some irregularities in the Choir, by reason of Some of the Singers interfering when certain pieces Of music are sung, with which they are not acquainted, and thereby producing discord in the Church; It was moved by the President, and unanimously agreed to, that a Standing Commitee be appointed to examine into Such proceedings and 3d0pt such measures for the regulation of the Choir, as will Prevent such irregularities in future, Messrs Eagan, Carrell and Ryan were appointed a Committee for that pnrpose. The fixing of the annual rent on those pews that have been removed, and also those that l1ave been altered for the 3CC0mmodation of the Choir, being under consideration, it was unanimousiy agreed that the five pews erected in the north . West Corner of the Church, and the pew next the South door, be eight, the two pews next the end‘ door ten, and the pews in the end Gallery. Seven Dollars per annum, exclusive of the additional Sum to be paid for the new organ. Capt Jno. Mullowny having applied for his pew No. 9. (Lower pews) which is now held by John Lalor. conditionally, Resolved that the Secretary be and he is hereby directed to inform said Lalor in writing, of the circumstance, in order that he may provide himself with, another pew.
