Game Promises to be a Natural with Seats for the Exclusive Use of Alumni Reserved
on the Fifty-yard line; Philadelphia Club Promises Dinner Dance
The Villanova Stadium on October 20
will be the scene for the continuation of
a football game which ended abruptly
two years ago. Remember that game?
It was the Detroit game and it was also
Homecoming D ay.

STUHLDRENER gain this year at the
same place. The pow-
ers that be have decided that this is to
be a game worthy of Homecoming Day.
Game A Natural
What a game it should be. It’s a
natural or we miss our guess. It brings
together two of the leading exponents of
the Notre Dame system of football. Both
teams’ coaches are former Notre Dame
luminaries. Gus Dorais is the Detroit
mentor and if you really know your foot-
ball you will recall that it was Dorais
and the late Rockne who conceived the
forward pass as it is employed in pres-
there, we have reserved a section of the
South stand between the 40-yard lines,
The cost to you will bé $2.20 per paste-
board. e want every Villanova alum-
nus, his wife or girl friend in that sec-
tion on that day. Only one thing further
and that is how to make sure you get in
* that section. There is only one sure way,
and that is by ordering your tickets as
soon as possible. ... First come ...
first served.
Tickets (as many as you want) can be
purchased through the Alumni office in
Mendel Hall. Below you will find an
order form, which incidentally is the
only medium by which you can be guar-
anteed a seat in that, special reserved
section. So clip out the coupon and send
it to the Alumni office right away and
your tickets will reach you by return
mail.
And A Dinner Dance
Of course, the game is not the only
attraction on the books for Homecoming
Day. The Philadelphia Alumni Club is
arranging for a dinner dance that eve-
ning in Philadelphia. No definite place
has yet been decided on, but particulars
will soon be made public.
And you older men. ... Rev. Dr.
Joseph A. Hickey, 0.S.A., is delaying his
return to Rome in order that he might
be on hand to meet you.
