THE OWL APPLIES FOR SPECIAL POSTAL
RATES.
An application has been filed, through Postmaster Dougherty
at Villanova, with the Postal Department at Washington for
permission to send THE OWL through the mails as second class
matter, This means that The Owl will have to continue as a
PRINTED publication in order to enjoy the reduced postal rates,
As we must repeat time and time egain, the future of THE OWL
depends upon the prompt and continued support of our Alumni.

_. MONEY WILL TALK.
Every report that we receive anent the popularity of THE OW
amongst the Engineering Alumni is most encouraging. But, some-
how or other, our subscription list does not keep pace with
these reports. WHAT IS THE MATTER? A dollar may be an insigni-
ficant thing to you, but it is an important item with us. Last
month we used up good space in trying to expostulate upon our
need of every dollar. We tried to jolly our delinquent sub-
scribers into sending in overdue subscriptions, but with scant
success. IF YOU WILL LET YOUR MONEY TALK TO US, WE WILL NO?
HAVE TO TALK MONEY TO YOU. Send in that overdue 1927-1926
subscription NOW before you forget, and keep it company with
a dollar for 1928-1929,
