s At the distance of one mile and a half from,Ballymena,
on the Ahoghill-road, and on a rising ground opposite
Gilgorin-castle,‘ is ,a’ settlement of. Moraviaxr brethren,
foundedin 1711.6, called Grace-hill;itl1e village is said to
. containiabove 400, inhabitants. . Not far from this is a
V noble seat of the Lord Mountcashel. - .
There are two roads from Ballymena"“ to Randalstown ;
.one "by Kells or Disert, a little.to the cast, theother
nearer the Main, which is;the mail road. . Kclls isa very
‘neat little village, once remarliableas being the site of
the most wealthy andimportant religious establishment

the vicinity of his noble demesne, afibrd shelter and orna-
ment to the landscape, which the tourist has not been ac<
customed to during ‘the whole circuit of .the county.
There is a very pleasing view from the sbridge,'both up
and down the river, of a rich sylvan character; the
woods of Lord O’Neill's park hang over the water with a
yery beautiful effect. There are a church, meeting-house,
and bar-rack here ; in front of the last-mentioned building
is a parade for the military, which is now the village
mall. There is a very tolerable linen, market “held on the
