Rev. Francis E. Tourscher, O.S.A., 1870-1939, served as University Librarian from 1923-1939. His papers are part of the Falvey Memorial Library records, VUA-18. Of particular note, his papers mostly contain research on the work of religious sisters during the flu epidemic of 1918 published as Work of the Sisters during the epidemic of influenza, October, 1918 / Philadelphia : American Catholic Historical Society, 1919.
