A letter from Blas Moran to Patrick Hayes, sent from Havana to Philadelphia. The letter explains that Moran wasn't able to close sales of cargo on the Brig Superior, because duties at the customs house were "not yet being regulated", but that he would close the sales "as soon as it be in my power to close them". Moran also asks for Hayes to bring back certain goods on his next trip to Havana, including gilt chairs, letter paper, blank bills of lading, quills, reams of paper for invoices, wafers, six books, and bank books for discharges.
