' From the middle upwards, to the top of the Stalk;
grow many Flowers, one above another, round a-
bout it, with Leaves at the foot of every one of
thiem,each whereof is pendulous, or hanging down
the Head, like unto the Crown Imperial, not turn-
ing up any oFtheFlowers again, but fmaller than in
any Other Kind of Lilly, not altogether fo large as
the Flower of a Fritillario, conlilting of lix Leaves
a piece, of a dead or over-worn purplilh Color, ha-

After the Flowers are pail, (which abide open for
a long time, and for the moll part flower b degrees,

f uare, by reafon of the Wings, very like to the
