and divided into three parts oftentimes, many bulh-
ing together at a Joint, and fome of them growing
fometimes alfo fcatteredly upon the Stalks, fmelling
fomething flrong, like unto Rolin, or the fmell of
the Pine Tree; the Flowers are very fmall, and of
a pale yellow color, growing from the Joints of the
Stalks all along among the Leaves , after which
come final], long, and round Husks.

Succory, or Dandelion, with (nary Fibre: therein,
but fmaller; it is alfoa fmall Herb , growrng up
with many hairy and hoary white [lender Branches,
not above a Hand breadth high, on which are 11::
many fmall long Leaves, yet Ihorter than the for-
mer, hairy ,alfo and hoary white, not in Tufts or
Buihes,’ but growing by couples, clofe together all
along the Stalks, cut in,‘ or divided into fome parts,
of a llrong but Iweet' fcent, much fweeter than the
former, at the tops of the Branches growths: Flow-
ers, many to ether, of a Kile yellowiih white color.

hard Leaves, a little like unto the firfl, but broad-

more, a little hot in talle, but not unpleafant, nor

Idler divided, and towards the tops nothin at all,

ranches , grow feveral gaping Flowers, like unto
Ge’mllderv, of a deep Purple or Violet Color for
the "wit part, but forn‘etitnes of a lively Red Color,
and fometimts of a blisaket Blue, or Sky Color, the
tifh, f otted with red Spots; after which come
black, l ining, longifh, and cornered Seed, fourfor
the moll part eticloted in every ofthofe rough Husks,
in which the Flowers flood before.
