XV. The Add Tinthre offhe Root. It is good
againll the Yellow Juundice, being taken in all that
the Patient drinks, whether Ale, Beer or Wine. It
Rtengthens and fortifies the Stomach, provokes Ap-
petite, and mules a good Digeition, cuts thick and
tough Eli-gm, and carries oft tartarous Matter lodg-
ed in the Stomach, Lungs, Reins, Ureters and Blad-
der ; and deitroys thofe Humors which are the
Ground ‘anydyFoundation of the Kings-evil.
