taken inwardly, from ten to twenty five drops, in J

ugainit the Strangury and Obiirut‘tions or Urine by
Sand, Gravel, or any tarrarous or llimy Mutter in
the Reins, theters and Bladder. Given to forty
drops, as af‘oreiaid, to a Woman in Tmil, it brings
forth both Birth and After-birth.
XX. The Spirit if Herb and Rant. It is :r iingu-
lar Stomatick, warmin and comforting a cold and
weak Stomach : it re ores its Tone, expels Wind,
prevziils againli the Cholick, and caufes a good rip-
petite, and an excellent Digeliion, being taken an
hour before Dinner. Dofe ( dulciiied) one or two
fpoonfuls.
XXI. Nora. If the green Herb is bruifed, and
applied outwardly, it draws Prickles, Thotnes,
gpgfigtets, and iuch other like things out of the
