XXIII. The Powerr. They have all the lime
Virtues with the Oil, and are much more Suhtil
and Penetrative, ‘yet my be taken in a much larger
Doi'e, as from a dram to four drams, in any proper
Vehicle. They, have alfo all the Virtues of the
Spirit, aforementioned, and ,llrengthen the Sto-
mach admirably. Given Morning and Night in
White Port Wine, or in fome other Diuretick Ve-
hicle, as in Parlley,'or hot-Arfmart Water Deco-
fiion, or Infuiion of Winter Cherries, c. they
powetfitlly open OhltruE‘tions of the Reins, Ure-
ters, and Bladder, provoke Urine, and expel all
Tartarous Matter, as Stones,--Gravel, Sand,’Slirne,
Matter, (5'; lodged in molel‘nrts. - ' '- .
XXIV. The Elixir, It has all the Virtues of the
Spirit, Diliilled Oil,’ and Powers, exalted; perform:
ingrmorefeifeetually, and more-gratefully to. the
