Scrapbook of a 1926 voyage of the D.S. Sachsen (a German ship on the Hamburg-American Line) originating in Hamburg and traveling through the Panama Canal to the Pacific Coast of North America, including cities in California, Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia. This scrapbook contains photographs, postcards, photo clippings, and maps of one of the travelers onboard the ship, as well as a painted illustration of various flags on the first page. Flags depicted are of countries visited (Belgium, Panama, Guatemala, the United States, and Canada), the flag of the Hamburg - Amerika Linie trans-Atlantic shipping line, and the civil flag of Hamburg, Germany.
