public considers the society as timely and meritorius,—
all in sympathy with its scope, should give their support.

prove a suecess—nothing great can be accomplished by
such hesitation. Use your own judgment! By aiding this
enterprise financially—yourself and offspring will be
benefited. Would you be in touch with the source from
which health, goodness and wisdom flow? Then assist a

Dr. COGSWELL in Boston: “J do not want to
slander the noble profession to which I have the honor ‘
belong and to which I owe my dearest and most treasure
friends, but I must do justice to my conscience and say
that the medical profession (with its much be ore
theory) does much more harm than good. Humanity
would gain much by his disappearance.
Dr. D. M. GOOD: “Medical science is barbarous,
gibberish, and the effect of our medicine on the human
body is to a high degree uncertain. Only one thing we
know for certain, namely: that it has destroyed more
: ”
lives than war, pestilence and famine together.

By Rey. J. B. Heath, New York.
If you would live long and healthy,

Farly rising,—All surprising,
Barefoot walking—Spite of mocking,
Lower-gush—U pper-gush,
Plash, plash,—Plash, plash,
Makes the life-blood flow with dash.
Chorus.

Don’t mock, but try it once, be sure,
Hurrah for nature’s “Water-cure”,
Hurrah, hurrah for nature’s “Water-cure.” :,:

You must live like Father Kneipp—
Watchful—never rash and brainless—
All debauching habits, fight—

Let men in official station
Counsel take of Father Kneipp—
He will give wise education,
That will lead their steps aright.
Early rising,—All surprising, ete.

Robust health, he gladly renders,
Tearful eyes he'll kindly wipe.
