I—Upon the receipt of this Circular all commissioned and non-commissioned officers of the Irish
‘Republican Army, in charge of Companies or Detachments, will forward direct to this office, without delay,
# correct return, showing the strength of their Commands, and the amonnt, kind and egnditign of the War
Material and Uniforms in their possession. In Circles where there are no Military officers, the Centres will
see that the report called for herein is promptly forwarded. The names of officers disregarding the pro-
visions of this Order shall be at once stricken from the rolls, while the names of those who comply shall be
forwarded to their respective Colonels for assignment under the new system of organization.

II.—Cireles and Military Companies having arms and accoutrements in their possession will at once
take the necessary steps to-_put themin order. The cartridge boxes and belts can be greatly improved in ap-
pearance by the following process : Take of oxalid acid and common washing soda, each one quarter ounce,
and dissolve in one gallon of tepid water ; immerse the article to be cleaned for a minute or two in this
solution, after which pour on a slight quantity of shoemaker’s ink, and rub well with pumice stone.
. HI.—Circles and Military Organizations will be furnished with Breech-loaders and Uniforms at the
following prices, viz :
Breech-loader and complete set of Equipments, each, boxing included $10 00
Uniform Jackets, Infantry, Cavalry, or Artillery, - - - - 5 00
Do. Pants, do, do, do. - - - - - 3 00
Do. Caps, do, do. do. - eee 1 00
Overcoats, according to quality, from $5 to $7.
It was at first designed not to supply Circles or Military Organizations with Breech-loaders on any
condition whatever, but fromthe frequent applications made for them, as well as from the belief that their
possession by the Circles and:Companics would prove an incentive to’ both branches of the organization to
