Austrian troops that had reached Miechov.
took up positions 40 kilometers farther on;
those stationed on the Vistula crossed the
river and established themselves in the
enemy's territory. In Eastern Galicia the
Austrians seized the border towns of Rad-
zilov, Volotshick and Novosielitza. At
Saloschze. cavalry detachments that had
penetrated to this point were driven back.
Two Austro-Hungarian cruisers, one of
which was the "Szigetvar." destroyed.the
Montenegrin wireless station at Antivari.
The Montenegrins unsuccessfully shelled the
district of Teodo, Bocche di Cattaro.

the attack of a Russian cavalry
brigade at Bialla, 10 kilometers
east of Johannisburg, was repulsed.

of Belfort, suffered a severe defeat

out of the city to the south and all

captured.
